Avro Arrow
The Arrow was a fighter/interceptor developed for the RCAF. It first flew in 1958, at which time it was in a class of its own. It was cancelled in 1959, and all prototypes, as well as everything else to do with the aircraft were destroyed. Only photographs and the front end of one of the prototype aircraft remain. Most of the staff of Avro ended up working in either the USA or the UK
